Privacy Policy

    Introduction

Hangar 28 ("we," "our," or "us") builds and supports private, on premises AI systems. This policy explains what information we collect through hangar28.ai, why we collect it, which third-party vendors receive it, and the controls you have. It applies to this website and to the sales and support conversations that start here.

Hangar 28 is a Pennsylvania-based business and currently offers its services only to Pennsylvania businesses. Visiting this website does not by itself create a customer relationship with us.

    Your Privacy Choices (summary)

    • Analytics and advertising tracking is on by default for ordinary visitors. We do not show a cookie banner or interruptive consent prompt.
    • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) automatically. If your browser sends either signal, all nonessential analytics and advertising are switched off before those tags can load — you do not have to do anything.
    • You can change your choices at any time using the control in the site footer.

    Information We Collect

    • Information you give us: name, work email, phone number, company name, and anything you write in a contact, quote, affiliate, or demo-booking form.
    • Usage data: pages viewed, referring page, links and buttons clicked, form starts and submissions, and coarse error categories.
    • Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, browser, and operating system.
    • Cookies and similar storage: see the categories below. We deliberately keep personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, and message text out of our analytics event data.

    Cookie and Tracking Categories

All third-party tags on this site are loaded through a single Google Tag Manager container and are gated by Google Consent Mode v2 according to your choices.

    • Necessary (always on): serving the site, remembering your privacy choice in your browser's local storage, and basic security. This category cannot be switched off.
    • Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Purpose: understanding which pages and features are used, page performance, and aggregate session behavior so we can improve the site. Typical cookies: _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gat*, _clck, _clsk.
    • Advertising & visitor intelligence: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, and Apollo. Purpose: measuring which ads and campaigns generate inquiries, building and excluding advertising audiences, and identifying business visitors so our team can follow up. Typical cookies: _gcl_au, _fbp, _fbc, and LinkedIn identifiers.

    How We Use Your Information

    • Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and schedule demos
    • Provide, operate, support, and maintain our hardware and services
    • Send technical notices and support messages
    • Measure site and campaign performance, and improve the site
    • Market our products to businesses that have shown interest
    • Protect against fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity

    Who Receives Your Information

We do not sell your information for money. Depending on your choices, the vendors named above (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, Apollo) receive usage and device data through their tags, and may act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Some of that sharing for advertising purposes may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain US state privacy laws; switching the Advertising category off, or sending a GPC signal, stops it. We also use service providers for hosting, email, and scheduling, and may disclose information where required by law.

    Data Retention

Inquiry and customer records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet business and legal record-keeping needs, then deleted or archived. Vendor analytics and advertising data is retained according to each vendor's own retention settings and policies.

    Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale/sharing of your data, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. To exercise any of these, email info@hangar28.ai with the details of your request. We will verify your request using the contact information we already hold and will not discriminate against you for making one. For opt-out of advertising and analytics, the fastest route is the Privacy Choices control in the footer or a GPC signal in your browser.

    Children

This site is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

    Third-Party Sites

Our site links to third-party sites and embeds a third-party scheduling widget on the booking page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
